Okay, hopefully I'll keep up with the editing a little better from now on. But I doubt it, so don't hold your breath... LOL

The Latest Addition

Meet Suzie, the latest addition to our bathroom's "Some Like it Haute" theme. I found her at Hobby Lobby and my grandma and I couldn't leave her.

Anyhow, I spent the day editing what is now over 100 photos, so I'm worn. See you tomorrow! And don't forget to suggest a tutorial. If there's anything you want, I'll give it a go! For Sandra, there will be a Template tutorial within the next few days. :D

Step On It!

Okay, I'm in a strange mood today and no longer feel like making yet another stupid photo, so I stylized it. Eventually I'll edit the original photo correctly, but until then, this is what you can ponder over if you'd like. And here are a couple of "traditional" photos, if you're not a fan of today's freak of nature.

It's a Two-Post Day!

So I took over a hundred photos yesterday and then completely forgot to post any! I need to get on the ball here. Gosh! lol. I decided to post twice today because I have so many photos to post that it would only confuse or overwhelm you.

Firstly, I forgot to tell you all that I did get an A for my portfolio and therefore an A in the class. WOO! *relief*

Speaking of classes, I have a paper to write on a 16th century piece of art for one Art History class, so I headed to my town's museum. They have an amazing room that was literally taken from England and put into the museum. Inside it is all 17th century art with the exception of one beautiful triptych placed right in the center. The piece is called Adoration of the Magi by Joos van Cleve. I really love it for all its intricate detail and slight oddity.

While I was waiting for my grandmother to pick me up from the museum, I took a few quick snaps outside (photography inside is extremely limited, so I'd rather not take the chance). They remind me of my darkroom prints, so even though I'm not sure why I like them, I'm quite pleased with them.

After the museum, I felt like making a photo that was somewhat out of the ordinary, and for some reason this is what I did. Hmm.

The Tear
Alright, post one complete. Sorry about that!

Sleepy Sunday

Even my butterfly house is sleepy.

I can't seem to wake up today. It was a perfectly fine day, though. Ran into some technical difficulties, but what's new? I wanted to take some more photos outside, but the weather went nuts and we got some crazy hailstorm mixed with giant, scattered snowflakes and a small amount of rain.

Then, Sandra gave me the idea to try taking a selfie version of her photo and grunge it up using a tutorial she found, but none of the windows in my house were reflecting me no matter what I tried. I wonder if I'm part vampire. ;)

Finally, I gave up and tried photographing some things in my room, but I was dissatisfied with every shot, so I spiced up one of them and a portrait of my grandmother with this tutorial that Sandra linked me to (we were bored today. Can't you tell?). Here are the results.

Lastly, Sandra linked me to this interesting tutorial and I had to try it out, so this is what I got.

Creepy, huh? Well, now that I've scared the bajeezus out of you (or just bored you to death), I bid you goodnight!

At Long Last

My grandmother has finally allowed me to take her portrait!

The challenge was supposed to be red, and she is actually wearing all red, but I liked this portrait so much better in black and white. The red distracts from her beautiful face. <3

Well, I'm pooped. Goodnight, y'all! :D
